When you have an active real estate license in another state
and you want a real estate license in Alaska!
Peggy Ann's "Dick & Jane of Alaska Real Estate" Alaska Real Estate Law Course
First, contact the Alaska Real Estate Commission (AREC) to verify their requirements for getting your license by endorsement or reciprocity. (See below for forms.)
For states that may have "brokers" rather than "salespeople," a call to the Commission will be beneficial to obtain accurate information on the requirements. Suppose you are told to take the Alaska Education (6 HOURS) portion of the Pre-Licensing Course (the Alaska Real Estate Law Course). In that case, I offer an affordable course approved by the AREC. The time to complete this course is 30 days. Extensions after this time require a reinstatement fee. You read my "ebook" (PDF) and the accompanying addenda for this course. Pay close attention to anything underlined, bold, or red, as these may be on the test! I also have the option to add videos from my last pre-licensing class, where we discussed the Alaska Statutes and Regulations. This is not a stand-alone product, but rather additional help for those who want to watch a video in conjunction with reading the PDF. You also get access to my unique Virtual Resource Center (VRC) with information to help you pass the exam, including fun games! Access is available until you pass the exam! I am here via phone, e-mail, text, or virtually before, during, and after completing your courses! Once you have completed your reading, you must take a test from me. No big deal -- it is excellent practice for taking the Pearson Vue exam. Once the test is done, we will review every question to ensure you understand each! And I want you to be comfortable switching from your current state information to Alaska! This one-on-one time makes a difference! Next, you will take a state test given through Pearson Vue on behalf of the Commission. For those seeking to obtain their salesperson's license by endorsement, please visit this link. For those who wish to get their broker's license, please visit here. For your associate broker's license, please see here. The certificate for passing this course and the Pearson Vue test allows you to apply for your Alaska real estate license by endorsement. No refunds are given once the course has been sent. The course is not transferable. Orders include taxes as applicable. NOTE: Due to changes with Square, my credit card processor, processing fees will no longer be refunded when I issue a full or partial refund. I've included the broker and sales forms by endorsement below. Read them carefully! Note: the Alaska Real Estate Commission may require other terms and conditions. Check with them to confirm you have everything in order. ![]()
