Exam Information:

There are two levels of examination: salesperson and broker. The Real Estate Commission contracts with Pearson Vue Testing Services to prepare, administer, and grade both exam versions.
The Commission is responsible for establishing exam contents. Still, Pearson Vue retains full copyright over its examinations, including the portions covering the Alaska statutes and regulations.

The examination is administered electronically and offered around Alaska. The fee is currently $100 (subject to change). Check here for the Alaska location nearest to you. And Pearson Vue has testing sites throughout the US.

The exam may be provided at other locations in Alaska, outside of the main testing sites, on an individual request basis for an additional fee -- usually around $50. A candidate guide prepared by the testing service is available for download here.

ATTENTION VETERANS!
The Alaska real estate exams have been added to the approved list of licensing tests to reimburse veterans' education benefits with the GI Bill. Veterans may receive a refund for the Alaska Real Estate Broker/Associate Broker and Salesperson exam by submitting a form on the Commission's website to the VA regional processing center in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

• Social Security Number
• VA File Number (for Dependents only)
• Home and Work Telephone Numbers
• Name of Exam (Alaska Real Estate Broker/Associate Broker Exam -or- Alaska Real Estate Salesperson Exam)
